Fallout: Houstonia is an upcoming total conversion mod for Fallout 4, featuring it's own, original setting not seen before in the Fallout universe. Exploring the crumbling ruins of former Houston, now an irradiated Swamp frequently hit by massive hurricanes and tornadoes, this futuristic home for technological and energy giants was once considered the city of the future. Now, it's merely a battleground for a variety of vying, colorful faction. You, as The Migrant, find yourself thrust in the middle of a war between Independence and Unity. Will you be why the Stormbelt rises above the water, or will you be what causes it to fall?
Visit the downtown buisiness district, where once mighty skyscrapers filled with high end businesses are now home to tribal and raider clans.
Explore the Stormbelt's dense bayous - overflowing with bizarre, irradiated lifeforms.
Take a tour of famous Houstonia landmarks, ranging from the theatre district to the famed Vault-Tec Mega Dome, home of Vault 27 !
As the mod is in EARLY DEVELOPMENT, we are not actively recruiting any additional help. However, we will gladly welcome aboard talented concept artists and writers at least 18+. More help is always appreciated.
Also, just to make it clear, we are in no relation to the former Lonestar project - they covered a completely different area of Texas than us.

Why Houston ?
The answer to that is simple; Houston is interesting. Energy capital of the world, home to America's Space Program, considered capital of the Sunbelt, home to the tallest buildings in Texas and world-famous attractions, such as the Astro Dome, Houston Zoo, Alley Theater, it's had two themeparks in the past ( Astroworld and Busch Gardens Houston ), and, to top it off, nothing is known about it in the Fallout World ( It's never once been featured, planned, or mentioned in canon or other mods.)
We as a team think Houston as an environment is fresh, unique, and ripe for exploring Fallout's parodistic capitalist and consumerism themes.
